I am a big fan of the Phillies, which started back in 1980 when I was only 12 years old. In 1980 the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Kansas City Royals in six games. The joy and excitement of that victory was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It only took twenty eight years for my team to repeat, and it was worth the wait.
It is now 2010 and the Philadelphia Phillies have acquired the best pitcher on the planet Roy Halladay from the Toronto Blue Jays, I have one thing to shout. LET’S GO PHILLIES!!!!!

My childhood Hero
Every child has their childhood hero; mine was Phillies super star first basemen Pete Rose. He had that unique batting stance that was imitated by many youngsters that loved baseball, and Pete Rose played the game with intensity and hard work, which earned him the name Charlie Hustle.
I hope that one day that the Major league baseball commissioner will reinstate the greatest player in recent baseball history, number 14 Pete Rose.
